Manor house, Sokoľany

A complete reconstruction of originally baroque manor house from the second half of the 18th century was realised according to the modern requirements of the client. A newly designed structure of the building includes modifications in the dispositions of the social and technical areas and redesign of the attic area designated for accommodation and relaxation purposes. A dominant element of the main section is the wooden supporting structure with an open corridor. A major part of the reconstruction was formed by architectural and interior details characteristic for the period of the building’s origin. Some interesting peculiarities of the project included the restoration works on the roof embrasure, stone façade portals and rebirth of the family coat-of-arms on the front side of the manor house.
